CB Passive Income License Program 4.0 Review: Is It a Scam? The Truth

Name: The CB Passive Income License Program 3.0
Recommendation Status: Not Recommended
Price: $37/month or a one-time payment of $97
Who Is It For: Newbies – Experts
Owner: Patric Chan

I’m actually somewhat conflicted about writing this review because there was a time when I believed that CB Passive Income was a pretty good product.

I even highly recommended it, especially to other newbies as it seemed like the perfect product for someone just starting out in internet marketing.

However, as I was introduced to other programs and began to learn more about internet marketing, I have come to the conclusion that while a newbie can learn much from CB Passive Income, it’s not a program that I would recommend.

What is the CB Passive Income License Program 3.0

In affiliate marketing, there are essentially three things that you need in order to have success – a highly converting product, an effective marketing system, and traffic.

CB Passive Income is simply the marketing system of millionaire internet marketer, Patric Chan, which he is allowing other marketers to leverage for a fee.

His marketing system is not that unique. At the center of it, is email marketing.

Having a list of customers who you can market and promote products to is essential if you want to build an online business that allows you to bring in consistent income.

One of the best ways for you to build your list is by creating a lead magnet, which is something valuable that you give away for free to your leads in order to entice them to subscribe to your email list.

Once they are on your list, you can then send them regular emails that are a combination of messages containing valuable content as well as those containing purely promotional content, or sometimes both.

To create this system, you need to know how to create a squeeze page and a lead magnet.

You also need to know how to generate traffic and convert that traffic into leads and then sales, which is primarily done through emailing.

With CB Passive Income, newbies don’t have to know how or do almost any of this as the system supposedly takes care of most of this for them.

How Much Does It Cost and How Does It Work

You can purchase CB Passive Income for $37 a month or a one-time fee of $97. There are also a few upsells which I will go over a little later.

After you purchase the system, you will be given access to the backend, where you will find about four different lead magnets, which you can promote, along with training on how to drive traffic to these lead magnets, other promotional material such as banners and email swipes, and a place where you can track and view your leads.

You basically have to drive traffic to any of the lead magnets provided by Patric, and anytime anyone subscribes to the system via your unique link, you will get credit for that lead.

Once your leads are on the CB Passive Income list, Patric will begin to market ClickBank products to them through email, using your ClickBank affiliate ID.

Whenever a purchase is made by one of your leads, you will get the full commission from those sales.

Promotional Training

Patric understands that most newbies do not know how to generate traffic, and so he also provides some very basic training, for free, on how to generate traffic using free and paid methods.

You will be given very basic training on how to generate traffic using solo ads, Bing Ads, Pinterest, Twitter, guest blogging, and forums.

What Kind of Results Can You Expect

In his sales pitch, Patric claims that the conversion rates of some of the lead magnets he provides has been as high as 50%.

This means that out of every 100 people that sees the lead magnet, on average, about 50 of them will actually subscribe to your list.

When I was promoting the lead magnets, I promoted two of them using three different traffic sources.

On average, they converted at about 20 – 25%. This is actually quite low, especially when using solo ads.

I was able to generate over 110 leads, but made no sales. Now to be fair, 110+ leads is not a lot, and it can often take a little bigger list before you start seeing any sales.

What Else You Should Know

As I previously mentioned, there are a few upsells to CB Passive Income.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, you are building a list that is ultimately for Patric.

He is the one that will engage this list. If you want the leads you bring in to also be added to your list at your autoresponder program so that you can also market to them and send them messages, you will have to pay an extra $97 for this.

This is what the CB Passive Income Pro upsell is all about.

For an extra $197 or $47 per month, you can add on the Fast Cash Series upsell, which is supposed to be an inner elite circle of about 200 members who Patric shares new ways in which they can make money online with, every month.

He claims that these new secret methods can help one generate income online much faster, often within days or weeks.

Final Verdict

As I mentioned before, I previously promoted CB Passive Income. I honestly thought that it was a great program for newbies to affiliate marketing.

They could take advantage of Patric’s system while at the same time, learn how to build one just like it.

However, I’ve learned that if you ever want to become a marketer that generates the kind of income that Patric does, then you will need to learn exactly how he does it and implement what he is doing yourself.

You are not going to make money like that while someone else does the work for you.

At the end of the day, all you are doing is building Patric’s list and making him even richer.

You see, while Patric will use your affiliate link when he promotes ClickBank products to the leads that you bring in, he will also promote products to them from other affiliate networks like JVZoo, in which case he won’t use your affiliate link and therefore, you won’t get any commissions off of those sales.

So, while a newbie can learn much from CB Passive income, I would not recommend it.

This program is not meant to be some kind of training course.

Although you are given very basic training on a few different ways to generate traffic, you will not be taught step by step exactly how to build such a system, which is what you really need to know.

Also, why would you want to share your leads with someone who is a direct competitor of yours and why do you need to pay an extra $97 to have leads that you already paid for, added to your list?

They are your leads, so having them added to your list should be free.  Not only that, but why would you need to pay anyone an extra $197 or $47 per month to learn about new and different ways to make money online?

Google is your friend here, or you can learn how to simply find profitable niches on your own, so you don’t have to pay someone like Patric to show you different ways to make money online.
